Needle Depth Regulations
The depth of the needle that can be used legally depends on the state regulations where your esthetician or cosmetology license was issued.
License Requirements
- To qualify for our microneedling coverage, you must hold an active Cosmetologist or Esthetician license.
- Even in states that allow unlicensed individuals to perform microneedling, we cannot extend coverage to practitioners without proper licensure.

Liability Insurance Exclusions

We do not cover microneedling procedures incorporating plasma-rich platelets (PRP), also known as Vampire Microneedling.
