What is an occurrence based policy?
Insurance that pays claims arising out of incidents that occur during the policy term, even if they are filed years later or if the policy is no longer in effect.
What is malpractice?
Professional misconduct or lack of ordinary skill in the performance of a professional act which renders the practitioner liable for damages. The obligation that a professional practitioner must provide care or service that meets the standard of practice for his/her profession.
What is general liability insurance?
General liability insurance is sometimes called business liability insurance or commercial general liability insurance. This type of liability insurance coverage helps protect you from claims that have caused bodily injuries or property damage to others.
What is damage to premises?
Property Damage to anyone premises while rented by the Insured in the case of damage by fire, or property damage to premises rented by the Insured. Our policy has premises insurance covering damages up to $100,000 dollars per year.
What is a per occurrence limit?
A per occurence limit is the maximum amount that can be paid per claim, our policy has a $2 million limit.
What is an aggregate limit?
The maximum coverage amount that can be paid during the policy period, our policy has a $3 million aggregate per member.
